Salisbury Supported Housing, Sydney House is a large Victorian house on the edge of Salisbury City Centre. Sydney House is a low to medium-supported housing scheme for adults with mental health issues. Service users receive up to 10 hours of support a week from Mental Health Recovery Workers to help them work towards moving independently into the community through Homes4Witlshire. Specific person-centered goals tailored to the individuals’ needs are worked towards to support moving independently within a 2-year tenancy. Nine service users have their own rooms and share a large communal area, kitchen, and laundry room.

Staff and service users arrange activities in the house, and out in the community. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the service where people who have been unwell are supported to gain the skills needed to have a fulfilling and meaningful life. We offer hope and compassion for a positive future for those we work with.

The service offers between six- and twelve-weeks outreach support at two hours a week where needed after moving on.

Service hours are 9 – 5pm weekdays and bank holidays.
